Gary Ward acquired the Traxdor agency for the Nelson Mandela Metropole area in mid 2013. In this time we have been meeting the security needs of clients from all sectors ranging from securing homeowners after breakins, to securing the business premises of Techi-civils in Shirley street, Newton Park, and the National renal care facility in Kwadwesi.

Traxdor takes great pride in the manufacturing and installation of high quality retractable security barriers for sliding doors, doors and windows and most openings that needs to be secured.

Our Head Office operates from Bloemfontein and we have manufacturing plants situated in Bloemfontein for our inland customers and Mosselbay for the coastal areas.

Our products are distributed throughout South Africa by our own Independent Agents who will assist you with a full risk assessment to meet your requirements.

We only use A grade materials in our manufacturing process to ensure maximum strength and a lifetime of use with minimum maintenance.

Our products are custom made to satisfy our wide range of customers including Home Owners, Businesses, Developers, Government, Municipalities, Hospitals, etc.

History

Traxdor started as a small business in Hamilton, Bloemfontein during 2005 and quickly expanded to the top quality brand we are today. Due to our increased client base, we had to move to bigger premises in East End in 2008. This building is perfectly positioned and easily accessible.

The business expanded rapidly which necessitated the appointment of Agents in several areas all over South Africa and Lesotho.

A manufacturing plant was opened in 2013 in Mosselbay to service the Southern Cape customers.

Transparent Window Bars:

• Manufactured of UV stabilized thermoplastic polycarbonate resin
• The material is used for Riot Visors and Shields
• Exceptional impact strength
• Long term optical clarity
• Long lifespan due to UV protection
• Economical, hardly noticeable, no maintenance
• Polycarbonate is resistant to high temperature (300C)

Window Fixture:

• Same style as the Retractable Door for a neater finish
• Fixed on all four sides
• Custom made to your requirements
• Stainless steel rivets for triple the strength
• Powder coated in five different colours
• Vertical steel inserts to secure all four points of the cross braces onto the bar
• Choose between fixed or to slide open
• Fixed into a Top and Bottom channel to provide maximum window protection points

Retractable Trellis Doors:

• Custom made to your requirements
• Fitted with a handle
• Opening between uprights is on average 100mm apart
• Rows of flights will vary depending on the height. Additional rows are available
• All steel and aluminium finish
• Corrosion resistant for coastal areas
• Powder coated in 5 different colours
• Fully framed with a top and bottom track
• Unique rotating bolt system that slides firmly into bottom track
• Solid steel bearings for smooth operation into top rack
